Nutrimed plans and participates in client activities in cooperation with Marketing and Company Communications Departments of our clients, as well as in partnership with their PR agencies. Our goal is to provide up-to-date nutritional advice and responsible information to the public, investigate and familiarize it with solutions to the problems that are related with imbalanced food choices and educate the participants in these events in an interactive and effective way.
A non-exhaustive list of our activities in the field is the following:
Nutrimed has participated in “Fitness Roadshow by Nestle” where our staff informed consumers on Healthy Nutrition in supermarkets in Athens, Thessaloniki and smaller cities.
Moreover, our executives served as Scientific Advisors in Coca Cola CSR program “Change Position, Get in Action”, which included an awareness campaign for Energy Balance with TV and print activations. We also participated in the “5-a-day” program that Coca Cola Hellenic supported in Greece. Finally, we developed an educational program for primary school students, for use in “Neighborhood of Action” an activity set that operated in Private School Doukas and its Cultural and Sports Center DAIS and in children camps in the suburbs of Athens (Dionysos and Sounio).
In cooperation with Intersport and their CSR program Fit For Life, our staff visited schools and camps and performed measurements and provided advice together with an academic group of physical activity instructors. Fit for Life program was implemented in the following venues:
• Serres student festival (Mathitiada)
• The Mall Athens
• Schools (Zerides and Kostea-Gitona private schools)
• Camps (Sport Camp and Summer Fun outside Corinth)
In addition nutrimed scientific team planned and implemented “nutri4life” seminars that aim to educate the participants in the notion of healthy nutrition, to break the bond between food and emotion and modify behaviors linked to diet and exercise.
